I’m a native Houstonian turned world traveler that finally found her way back home.  Lately, I’ve found myself searching for things to be positive and passionate about in a world that seems increasingly negative.  That’s the point of this blog.  I don’t want to sell you stuff. I don’t want to scream about politics (although . . . REGISTER TO VOTE!).  I just want to show you something inspiring or interesting or good.

I’m a hopeless dreamer and an irascible realist.  It’s a lovely dichotomy borne of nature versus nurture.  My day job consists of telling people no, wallowing in worst-case scenarios, and dealing with people on their toughest times.  I spend my day-job telling people no and wallowing in worst-case scenarios.  So it’s time for this pragmatist to engage her flights of fancy and spread some positivity!
